Noble Uprising Launches New Campaign To Provide Essential Items And Care Packages To Homeless Shelters

Updated: Jun 7, 2024

MARYLAND – Noble Uprising, the nonprofit organization empowering homeless women announced today the launch of the WeCare Campaign. This is an initiative that focuses on providing cards and care packages to women in shelters.

“Too many homeless individuals in Maryland are left behind alone and hungry, struggling to stay independent and healthy,” said Lumnwi Audrey Awasom, Founder, and CEO of Noble Uprising. “ We are making an effort to show those experiencing homelessness in our community that we care. We are doing so by creating the WeCare campaign to get the whole community involved in making an impact.”

The organization is using inspirational cards written by students, teachers, and community members, as a platform to encourage homeless individuals in the community. Socks are the number one requested item in homeless shelters, so the organization has already raised 60 socks for 60 individuals. Noble Uprising will also provide food and care packages for those in a local homeless shelter.

You can make an impact by donating socks, sanitary products, and cards to the campaign. To partner with Noble Uprising in this effort contact them at contact@nobleuprising.com.
