Introducing The Launch of Noble Pantries

Noble Pantries: Creating an atmosphere of hope.

Overview:

Noble Pantries is a network of free self-serve pantries created by Noble Uprising to address food and basic need insecurities in disenfranchised and impoverished communities in Maryland. The program is designed to be an easily customizable experience per community organization with the focus on providing brand-new essential items to clients in an accessible and convenient manner. The pantries are regularly stocked by the Noble Uprising team with food, hygiene, and household items. Clients can simply take what they need and go about their way.

Clients can simply take what they need without the stigma associated with asking for help.

Noble Uprising started with the belief that every woman deserves access to quality health opportunities, affordable housing, and sustainable employment. We are even more energetic to fulfill this vision as we partner with the Prince George’s County Family Justice Center (PGCFJC) to host a Noble Pantry.

Like the PGCFJC, we are dedicated to creating “one-stop-shop” programs and initiatives that meet the fundamental needs of women in our community and our partnership with the center has enabled us to do just that. Within 5 months of launching the pantry, we provided 8,162 food, hygiene, and household items to clients in the center and received countless 5-star ratings from beneficiaries of the pantry. It has been an absolute delight learning how impactful the pantry has been to survivors and their families and we look forward to strengthening our partnership to serve more survivors in our community.
